College of the Holy Cross congratulates Samantha Marzi on receiving the 2023 John J. Crowley Memorial Prize. The John J. Crowley Memorial Prize is awarded for the best essay on a religious, literary, historical, economic or scientific subject.

Holy Cross celebrated its 177th Commencement on Friday, May 26 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Senator Peter Welch '69 of Vermont, a Class of 1969 alumnus, delivered the address to 762 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Welch, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to housing and community development leader Rosanne Haggerty.

Twelve Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform in the chamber opera "RASA" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Luth Concert Hall. Performances will take place on April 27-29 at 7:30 p.m.

67 Holy Cross students were inducted into the Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) Honor Society, a national honor society recognizing the achievements of first-generation students, alumni, staff, faculty and administrators.

Eighteen Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform in the musical "Company" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Luth Concert Hall. Performances will take place on February 16-18 at 7:30 p.m., as well as February 19 at 2:00 p.m.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates more than 1,519 students who were named to the Fall 2022 Dean's List.

Thirty-four Holy Cross students were inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society founded in 1915, at a ceremony held on Sunday, Oct. 30th in the Rehm Library. The new inductees exemplify the society's values of excellence in scholarship, loyalty and service.

Twenty-five Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform the play "Iphigenia" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Boroughs Theatre. Performances will take place on November 3-5 and November 10-12 at 7:30 p.m., as well as November 6 and November 13 at 2 p.m.

The College of the Holy Cross is proud to announce the members of the Class of 2026. Hailing from 575 high schools, 14 countries and four continents, twenty-five percent of the class are students of color and international students; 24 languages are spoken; and 50 members hold dual citizenship. These newly minted Crusaders have distinguished themselves through community service, leadership roles, and diverse participation in areas like the arts, music and athletics. Forty-eight Holy Cross students were inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society at College of the Holy Cross, the oldest and most prestigious national honor society of the liberal arts and sciences. Membership in Phi Beta Kappa is highly selective, and selection is based primarily on scholastic achievement and breadth of education.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Julia Cashman on receiving the 2022 George B. Moran Award.The George B. Moran Award is the highest honor given by the College to a graduating senior in recognition of exemplary scholarship and leadership.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Meah Austin on receiving the 2022 Carter G. Woodson Prize. The Carter G. Woodson Prize is given to a fourth-year student for outstanding scholarly or artistic achievement in African American Studies.

The Presidential Service Award honors graduating seniors who have, to an exceptional degree, used their time, talents and resources in service to the College, their fellow students and the Worcester community.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Jack Hynick on receiving the 2022 Edward F. Wall Jr. Prize. The Edward F. Wall Jr. Prize is awarded annually to a fourth-year student whose research essay in any field of history is judged by the Department of History to be exemplary. The prize is in memory of Edward F. Wall Jr., a former Chair of the Department and Class Dean, who was a member of the faculty for 34 years.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Jordyn Arakelian on receiving the 2022 Shirley Verrett French Prize. The Shirley Verrett French Prize in Memory of the Rev. Lionel P. Honore, S. J. is awarded to the top French major in the graduating class as determined by the French faculty.
