Holy Cross Confers 751 Bachelor of Arts Degrees During 178th Commencement Exercises
Holy Cross celebrated its 178th Commencement on Friday, May 24 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Space scientist and former president of Worcester Polytechnic Institute Dr. Laurie Leshin delivered the address to 751 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Leshin, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to longtime Holy Cross administrator Rev. Paul F. Harman, S.J.

Holy Cross Confers 762 Bachelor of Arts Degrees During 177th Commencement Exercises
Holy Cross celebrated its 177th Commencement on Friday, May 26 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Senator Peter Welch '69 of Vermont, a Class of 1969 alumnus, delivered the address to 762 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Welch, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to housing and community development leader Rosanne Haggerty.

Haley Walker Earns Academic All-Patriot League Honors
Holy Cross senior defender Haley Walker been selected to the 2021 Academic All-Patriot League women's lacrosse team, as announced by the conference office. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, and be a starter or key reserve.

Gabe Piepergerdes receives Daniel Allen Sportsmanship Award
Senior Gabe Piepergerdes, a member of the Holy Cross men's track and field team, has been selected as the 2020-21 winner of the Daniel Allen Sportsmanship Award. Presented by the Holy Cross Varsity Club, the Allen Award goes to the player whose unselfish teamwork and dedication to the good of the team reflect the values lived by Coach Allen.

Holy Cross Students Win in Multiple Categories at the Brenau Invitational Mediation Tournament
College of the Holy Cross congratulates Alison Emery '23, Angelo Carbone '22 and Bridget Whelpley '21, who took home multiple prizes at the Brenau Invitational Mediation Tournament. The team won second place in both the Mediator and Advocate/Client categories. In addition, students Bridget Whelpley '21 and Angelo Carbone '22 won first place in the individual award category for best Advocate /Client Scores. Whelpley also won first place In the Individual Mediator category and was presented with the Elizabeth Baumgardner Award, which is given to the Individual student with the highest combined score in the mediator and advocate roles at this tournament.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Caroline Fredericks '21, Caitlin Marple '21 and Jake Mozeleski '22, who took part in the International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) Vilnius. The team won first place in the Mediator category and placed fourth in the Advocate/Client pair category. In addition, students Caitlin Marple '21 and Jake Mozeleski '22 received first place individual awards in the Advocate/Client category, with Marple also receiving a third place individual award in the Mediator Category.

Officer Gracie Elected SGA President
From The Spire on April 3, 2020: "On Wednesday, April 1, election results revealed that Officer Gracie of the Dept. of Public Safety was voted Student Government Association President. The two-year-old Goldendoodle received over 99% of the vote after a month-long campaign. An outspoken advocate for the St. Pat's darty and the addition of dog treats to the Cool Beans menu, her platform resonated strongly with students of all class years."
