The College of the Holy Cross is proud to announce the members of the Class of 2028. Hailing from 507 different high schools, 41 U.S. states and territories and 13 different countries, this incoming class represents one of the most diverse and academically accomplished classes in the College's history. These newly minted Crusaders have distinguished themselves through community service, leadership roles, and diverse participation in areas like the arts, music and athletics. Hailing from 38 states and territories, and 12 different countries, more than 15 percent of Holy Cross' Class of 2027 are first-generation college students. Hailing from 575 high schools, 14 countries and four continents, twenty-five percent of the class are students of color and international students; 24 languages are spoken; and 50 members hold dual citizenship. Holy Cross celebrated its 177th Commencement on Friday, May 26 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Senator Peter Welch '69 of Vermont, a Class of 1969 alumnus, delivered the address to 762 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Welch, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to housing and community development leader Rosanne Haggerty.

Holy Cross celebrated its 176th Commencement on Friday, May 27 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Acclaimed writer and infectious disease physician Abraham Verghese, MD, MACP delivered the address to 755 graduating seniors in the Class of 2022. In addition to Verghese, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J., the 32nd president of Holy Cross.

Holy Cross celebrated its 178th Commencement on Friday, May 24 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Space scientist and former president of Worcester Polytechnic Institute Dr. Laurie Leshin delivered the address to 751 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Leshin, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to longtime Holy Cross administrator Rev. Paul F. Harman, S.J.

Thirty-one Holy Cross students were inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society founded in 1915, at a ceremony held on Sunday, Oct. 23rd in the Rehm Library. The new inductees exemplify the society's values of excellence in scholarship, loyalty and service.

67 Holy Cross students were inducted into the Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) Honor Society, a national honor society recognizing the achievements of first-generation students, alumni, staff, faculty and administrators.

Thirty-four Holy Cross students were inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society founded in 1915, at a ceremony held on Sunday, Oct. 30th in the Rehm Library. The new inductees exemplify the society's values of excellence in scholarship, loyalty and service.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Haley Welsh on receiving the 2023 Vannicelli Washington Semester Program Award (Spring '22). The Vannicelli Washington Semester Program Award is given for the best thesis in the Washington Semester Program.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Sloane Larsen on receiving the 2023 Shirley Verrett French Prize. The Shirley Verrett French Prize in Memory of the Rev. Lionel P. Honore, S. J. is awarded to the top French major in the graduating class as determined by the French faculty.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Peter Oliver on receiving the 2023 Varsity Club Norton Prize. The Varsity Club Norton Prize is given to an outstanding student-athlete.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates senior Aaron Bernardezon receiving the 2023 Pedro Arrupe Medal for Outstanding Service. The Pedro Arrupe Medal for Outstanding Service is awarded to a graduating senior whose faith in the gospel is made visible through their work for justice, both at Holy Cross and beyond.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Isabelle McNamara-Angel on receiving the 2023 Nellie M. Bransfield Award. The Nellie M. Bransfield Award is given to a fourth-year outstanding actor/actress.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Daniel Desmond on receiving the 2022 Nellie M. Bransfield Award. The Nellie M. Bransfield Award is given to a fourth-year outstanding actor/actress.

Eighteen Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform in the musical "Company" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Luth Concert Hall. Performances will take place on February 16-18 at 7:30 p.m., as well as February 19 at 2:00 p.m.

Twenty-five Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform the play "Iphigenia" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Boroughs Theatre. Performances will take place on November 3-5 and November 10-12 at 7:30 p.m., as well as November 6 and November 13 at 2 p.m.

Twelve Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform in the chamber opera "RASA" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Luth Concert Hall. Performances will take place on April 27-29 at 7:30 p.m.

Holy Cross senior defender Haley Walker been selected to the 2021 Academic All-Patriot League women's lacrosse team, as announced by the conference office. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, and be a starter or key reserve.

Senior Gabe Piepergerdes, a member of the Holy Cross men's track and field team, has been selected as the 2020-21 winner of the Daniel Allen Sportsmanship Award. Presented by the Holy Cross Varsity Club, the Allen Award goes to the player whose unselfish teamwork and dedication to the good of the team reflect the values lived by Coach Allen.

Holy Cross junior Jolie Creo has been selected to the 2021 All-Patriot League second team in women's lacrosse, as voted by the conference's head coaches. Creo started all six games at attack for the Crusaders this season, and led the team in scoring with 36 points on 27 goals and nine assists.
