College of the Holy Cross congratulates two students who were awarded the Certificate in Entrepreneurship by the College's Carlyse and Arthur A. Ciocca '59 Center for Business, Ethics and Society. Launched in 2018, the Ciocca Center's mission is to foster a distinctively liberal arts approach to the study of business and its role in society. Through the Certificate in Entrepreneurship, the Ciocca Center empowers students to turn bold ideas into ventures that make an impact. Building on liberal arts foundation, students will learn how to develop, test, and refine creative concepts using proven entrepreneurial methods such as creating minimum viable products, engaging real users, and iterating based on feedback.

Holy Cross Confers 733 Bachelor of Arts Degrees During 179th Commencement Exercises
Holy Cross celebrated its 179th Commencement on Friday, May 23 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Dr. Linda LeMura, president of Le Moyne College and the first female layperson to be named president of a Jesuit institution of higher education in the United States, delivered the address to the 733 seniors graduating this year and their families. In addition to LeMura, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to Sister Barbara Rogers, RSCJ, a longtime leader of the Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart.

Holy Cross celebrated its 178th Commencement on Friday, May 24 at the DCU Center in Worcester. Space scientist and former president of Worcester Polytechnic Institute Dr. Laurie Leshin delivered the address to 751 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Leshin, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to longtime Holy Cross administrator Rev. Paul F. Harman, S.J.

Holy Cross celebrated its 177th Commencement on Friday, May 26 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Senator Peter Welch '69 of Vermont, a Class of 1969 alumnus, delivered the address to 762 graduating seniors graduating this year. In addition to Welch, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to housing and community development leader Rosanne Haggerty.

Holy Cross celebrated its 176th Commencement on Friday, May 27 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Acclaimed writer and infectious disease physician Abraham Verghese, MD, MACP delivered the address to 755 graduating seniors in the Class of 2022. In addition to Verghese, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J., the 32nd president of Holy Cross.
