18 Holy Cross Students to Perform in the Musical 'Company'
Eighteen Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform in the musical "Company" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Luth Concert Hall. Performances will take place on February 16-18 at 7:30 p.m., as well as February 19 at 2:00 p.m.

25 Holy Cross Students to Star in the Play "Iphigenia"
Twenty-five Holy Cross students will take the stage to perform the play "Iphigenia" at the Prior Performing Arts Center's Boroughs Theatre. Performances will take place on November 3-5 and November 10-12 at 7:30 p.m., as well as November 6 and November 13 at 2 p.m.

34 Holy Cross Students Inducted Into Jesuit Honor Society
Thirty-four Holy Cross students were inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society founded in 1915, at a ceremony held on Sunday, Oct. 30th in the Rehm Library. The new inductees exemplify the society's values of excellence in scholarship, loyalty and service.

48 Holy Cross Students Inducted Into Phi Beta Kappa
Forty-eight Holy Cross students were inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society at College of the Holy Cross, the oldest and most prestigious national honor society of the liberal arts and sciences. Membership in Phi Beta Kappa is highly selective, and selection is based primarily on scholastic achievement and breadth of education.

Holy Cross Confers 755 Bachelor of Arts Degrees During 176th Commencement Exercises
Holy Cross celebrated its 176th Commencement on Friday, May 27 at the DCU Center in Worcester. U.S. Acclaimed writer and infectious disease physician Abraham Verghese, MD, MACP delivered the address to 755 graduating seniors in the Class of 2022. In addition to Verghese, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to Rev. Philip L. Boroughs, S.J., the 32nd president of Holy Cross.

Holy Cross Celebrates 175th Commencement
Holy Cross celebrated its 175th Commencement on Friday, May 21 on the College's Fitton Field. U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield delivered the address to 748 graduating seniors in the Class of 2021. In addition to Thomas-Greenfield, Holy Cross also awarded an honorary degree to Holy Cross alumnus Dr. Michael Collins '77, chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Medical School and senior vice president for the health sciences for the University of Massachusetts.

Haley Walker Earns Academic All-Patriot League Honors
Holy Cross senior defender Haley Walker been selected to the 2021 Academic All-Patriot League women's lacrosse team, as announced by the conference office. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, and be a starter or key reserve.

Senior Gabe Piepergerdes, a member of the Holy Cross men's track and field team, has been selected as the 2020-21 winner of the Daniel Allen Sportsmanship Award. Presented by the Holy Cross Varsity Club, the Allen Award goes to the player whose unselfish teamwork and dedication to the good of the team reflect the values lived by Coach Allen.

Holy Cross Students Win in Multiple Categories at the Brenau Invitational Mediation Tournament
College of the Holy Cross congratulates Alison Emery '23, Angelo Carbone '22 and Bridget Whelpley '21, who took home multiple prizes at the Brenau Invitational Mediation Tournament. The team won second place in both the Mediator and Advocate/Client categories. In addition, students Bridget Whelpley '21 and Angelo Carbone '22 won first place in the individual award category for best Advocate /Client Scores. Whelpley also won first place In the Individual Mediator category and was presented with the Elizabeth Baumgardner Award, which is given to the Individual student with the highest combined score in the mediator and advocate roles at this tournament.

College of the Holy Cross congratulates Caroline Fredericks '21, Caitlin Marple '21 and Jake Mozeleski '22, who took part in the International Academy of Dispute Resolution (INADR) Vilnius. The team won first place in the Mediator category and placed fourth in the Advocate/Client pair category. In addition, students Caitlin Marple '21 and Jake Mozeleski '22 received first place individual awards in the Advocate/Client category, with Marple also receiving a third place individual award in the Mediator Category.

Officer Gracie Elected SGA President
From The Spire on April 3, 2020: "On Wednesday, April 1, election results revealed that Officer Gracie of the Dept. of Public Safety was voted Student Government Association President. The two-year-old Goldendoodle received over 99% of the vote after a month-long campaign. An outspoken advocate for the St. Pat's darty and the addition of dog treats to the Cool Beans menu, her platform resonated strongly with students of all class years."
